About the role:
DMCL is seeking a Cloud Accountant/Bookkeeper with experience in QuickBooks Online to join our expanding Cloud Accounting team in our Surrey office.

How you’ll make a difference:

• Conducting accounting tasks utilizing cloud-based accounting software such as QuickBooks Online (QBO) and associated third-party applications like Hubdoc, this individual ensures accurate and efficient financial data management, streamlining processes for enhanced productivity and transparency.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and internal management reports using QBO, which contributes to the overall financial health and strategic direction of the organizations you support.
• Handling GST and PST returns, this individual ensures compliance with tax regulations, minimizing the risk of penalties or audits and optimizing tax efficiency.
• Onboarding new clients into QBO, including data file setup and conversion, this person fosters seamless transitions for clients, promoting positive initial experiences and building strong client relationships from the outset.
• Providing client care and support, this individual delivers exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.

Who you are:

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, Cloud Accounting, or bookkeeping, preferably within a public practice firm
• A robust understanding of QuickBooks Online features and workflow, with experience in Xero Accounting or Sage 50 considered advantageous.
