Continuing | Full-Time Higher Education Officer Level 9 | $130,786 - $139,950 p.a. + 17% Super Location: Bedford Park / Kaurna Country View Position Description About the Role The IDS Cloud and Infrastructure Architect is responsible for leading the design, development, and continuous improvement of the University’s digital infrastructure architecture. Operating under broad direction, the role collaborates with stakeholders across Information and Digital Services (IDS) and the wider University to deliver strategic digital infrastructure initiatives. It also plays a key part in shaping and maintaining the infrastructure vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with governance frameworks, institutional objectives, standards and principles. In addition to architectural leadership, this role oversees vendor management, contributes to business case development for emerging technologies / advanced solutions, and ensures effective risk and compliance practices are in place. It requires deep expertise in enterprise architecture within complex environments such as universities, large organisations, government, or defence. Flexible work arrangements are supported, with a mix of on-campus presence and remote working based on operational needs. About You As the successful IDS Cloud and Infrastructure Architect, you will have proven experience designing and leading infrastructure solutions in large, complex organisations. You bring strong expertise with technologies such as Cisco, Red Hat, Microsoft, and VMware, along with the ability to integrate diverse systems and work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Responsibilities
