REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Good knowledge of data structures, complexity and performance.
  • Good understanding of microservices and REST architectures, API gateways, API design principles.
  • Good understanding of running services securely in the cloud.
  • Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
  • Experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Familiarity with serverless systems.
Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer in our Architecture Team, you will design, build, and support scalable cloud-native services that power our core platform. Working with modern technologies such as microservices, RESTful APIs, and serverless systems, you’ll contribute to the development of resilient, high-performance infrastructure that supports our growing suite of energy optimisation tools.
We are looking for curious and motivated engineers who are passionate about technology and climate action. You’ll bring a strong understanding of data structures, API design, cloud architecture, and relational databases, and you’ll play a key role in shaping our infrastructure using tools like AWS, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code.
You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, applying your skills to develop secure, efficient services that unlock insights from time series and IoT data to drive meaningful climate impact.
