Position Summary: We are looking for a Cloud Application Security Engineer who is passionate about secure software development and modern cloud technologies. In this role, you will contribute to a critical, fast‑growing project within a collaborative, innovative, and globally connected team. You will work across cloud and on‑premise platforms to strengthen the security posture of our products and processes. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: • Analyze UML diagrams, data flow diagrams, and threat models to identify security gaps and recommend improvements. • Mentor development teams on secure coding and security best practices. • Develop and deliver training sessions for developers and leaders on security concepts and requirements. • Review software requirements and perform code reviews with a focus on identifying security vulnerabilities. • Provide direction for security needs across custom hardware and software. • Collaborate with global internal security partners and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance. • Enhance security processes through continuous assessment, implementing improvements while maintaining compliance with IEC 62443 3‑3 and 4‑1. • Participate in audits and assessments related to standards compliance. • Contribute hands‑on coding to support secure solution development. • Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally as needed. For This Role, You Will Need: • Professional hands‑on coding experience in a cloud environment. • Strong understanding of secure software development lifecycle practices. • Practical knowledge of software and security design principles. • Experience in application‑level threat modeling and secure code review. • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. • Ability to translate complex technical information for varied audiences. • Knowledge of current malware trends and cybersecurity issues. • Experience with PKI, certificates, and cryptographic principles. • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: • Awareness of emerging security trends in control systems. • Experience in ICS/SCADA/OT or the automotive industry. • Certifications such as Azure Security Engineer Associate, Cybersecurity Architect Expert, GPCS, GWEB, GCSA, or other cloud/security credentials. • Experience with cloud‑native technologies. • Experience working in a DevSecOps CI/CD automation environment. • A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, with relevant experience.
