We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Cloud Architect to join our high-performing team and take the lead in designing, building, and deploying scalable, secure, and reliable software systems using cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes, OpenShift, GitOps, and microservices

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or its equivalent, with deep understanding of distributed systems, containerization, and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Openshift Cloud Platform.
• At least 4 to 8 years of build or deployment engineering experience with strong DevOps/CI/CD process architecture/engineering and RedHat OpenShift Container Platform/Kubernetes.
• At least 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Linux Systems Engineer (preferably with RHCE qualification) including installing, configuring and maintaining Linux server environments
• Capability to develop and operate orchestration tools within containerised environments, such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS or OpenShift
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) deployments & tools such as bicep, ARM templates, terraform or CloudFormation.
• Able to thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy taking ownership and accountability.
• A skilled communicator and collaborator who can bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiar with security best practices for cloud-native applications.
• Have a passion for open-source technologies and communities.

• Lead the Design and Implementation of Cloud Infrastructure provisioning, monitoring and Operations.
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to development teams, helping them to understand and implement the architecture, and ensuring that the solution meets the defined design standards.
• Build and Release Management: Configuring and managing build and Release definitions, automating the creation of build artefacts, and controlling the deployment of applications to various environments
• Kubernetes and OpenShift Mastery: Be the guru of Kubernetes and OpenShift, wielding them to orchestrate containerized applications with precision and finesse.
• Champion GitOps: Advocate and implement GitOps principles, ensuring infrastructure and application configurations are version-controlled and automated.
• Monitoring and Diagnostics: Monitoring the performance and availability of applications and using tools to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Security: Ensuring that the DevOps processes and tools adhere to security best practices, such as encryption and access control, and that the applications are deployed securely.
• Foster collaboration between development, operations, and security teams to break down silos and achieve operational excellence.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Designing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure that the solution is able to continue operating in the event of an outage or disaster.
• Technical Documentation: Creating and maintaining technical documentation, such as architecture diagrams, configuration files, and deployment scripts, to ensure that the solution can be easily understood and maintained.Mentor and Inspire: Share your knowledge and experience, guiding junior engineers and architects to reach their full potential.
