JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Architect to strategize, design, implement and maintain solutions primarily with Microsoft Azure in addition to AWS and Google clouds. The Cloud Architect’s responsibilities include overseeing the cloud computing strategy of our organization, including cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring.
Our ideal candidates are familiar with the infrastructure and application architecture and have hands-on experience leading the design and deployment of enterprise-scale Azure solutions. In addition, experience with AWS and Google cloud services will be additional plus for this position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role.
  • Experience with Azure and other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
  • Understanding of network operations, software development, and information security.
  • Proficient in cloud ecosystems, APIs, and frameworks.
  • Experience with coding languages like Python, Java, or .NET.
  • Strong technical cloud skills and experience in cloud adoption projects.
  • Ability to design and deploy enterprise-scale Azure solutions.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure and application architecture
  • Proficient with various configuration tool and approach with Infrastructure as code (IAC) for automations
Responsibilities
  • Designing, building, and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on Azure, AWS and Google.
  • Identifying appropriate use of Azure operational best practices and architectural design patterns.
  • Conducting systems plan studies and system modeling, performance, and capacity analysis.
  • Estimating cost and identifying cost control mechanisms for Azure cloud-based resources.
  • Migrating complex, multi-tier applications on Azure.
  • Implementing and controlling the flow of data to and from Azure.
  • Selecting the appropriate Azure service based on data, compute, database, or security requirements.
  • Integrating Azure services with on-premises networks, as required.
  • Maintaining knowledge of the latest Azure updates and improvements to provide optimal solutions.
  • Providing expertise and architectural assistance to other IT personnel, including software developers and systems engineers.
  • Designing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity strategies on Azure cloud.
