IS-CDT is leading the development of a NATO-wide cloud strategy and architecture, focusing on the procurement and installation of sovereign, highly secure cloud environments. This is a unique chance to be a foundational architect of NATO's future cloud capability, designing and implementing air-gapped, distributed cloud solutions that will be deployed on-premise across NATO locations. Work with cross-functional teams to translate strategic objectives into implementable, secure cloud designs. Essential Qualifications & Experience: Proven Experience: Hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions within security-accredited cloud environments (e.g., government, defence, or highly regulated commercial sectors). Specialised Architecture Expertise: Demonstrable experience with air-gapped cloud architectures and/or distributed/on-premise cloud solutions (e.g., based on OpenStack, VMware, or sovereign cloud stacks). Certification: A relevant professional cloud certification (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP Solutions Architect Professional, OpenStack Certified Professional, etc.).
