MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience in computer science, information systems, or a closely related technology field.
  • Deep expertise in network infrastructure, cloud computing, and systems security.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing scalable, modern network and cloud solutions.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
  • Proven client-service orientation, with experience supporting both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Google Workspace
  • Strong communication and consultative skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and in partnership with cross-functional groups.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle may be required.
  • Documented evidence of a clear criminal record in compliance with state statute.
  • Complies with drug-free workplace rules and Board policies.

Responsibilities

The following duties represent performance expectations. The list below is not ranked in order of importance.

  • Design and implement advanced network and cloud-based systems that are reliable, secure, and scalable.
  • Lead initiatives to modernize infrastructure beyond daily operations, creating replicable models for partner districts.
  • Serve as a technical advisor to districts, building strong working relationships through ongoing support and consultation.
  • Maintain a high level of responsiveness to client needs through a consultative, fee-for-service delivery model.
  • Identify and develop new service offerings in response to unmet regional needs, especially where gaps exist between existing providers.
  • Coordinate system integration efforts in collaboration with cybersecurity, AI initiatives, and data/insights.
  • Oversee technical project planning, procurement, deployment, and maintenance of network and systems infrastructure.
  • Provide leadership for systems upgrades, migrations, and security enhancements.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with licensing, regulations, and best practices in security and systems management.
  • Assist in grant development, strategic planning, and budgeting as related to technology infrastructure and innovation.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and procedures to support system reliability and user access.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology and Digital Learning.
