We are in search of a highly skilled Cloud Automation and API Research Specialist to support the development of a cutting-edge cloud security posture management solution.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in researching service scopes, validating APIs, and designing automated workflows for data collection and validation. This role involves working with multi-cloud platforms, with a strong focus on AWS, followed by Azure and other cloud providers. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional automation skills, a deep understanding of cloud security, and the ability to align technical solutions with business requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services like IAM, VPC, EC2, Lambda, S3, and their APIs
• Proficiency in Python for API automation and data processing
• Strong experience in using Terraform for cloud resource automation
• Knowledge of Azure services and APIs including Azure Resource Manager and Azure Security Center
• Understanding of cloud security principles and risks
• Capability to model and identify potential misconfigurations in cloud setups
• Experience with REST API protocols, JSON/YAML, and API testing tools like Postman
• Skills in aligning technical solutions with business needs
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Research cloud service scopes and API specifications for AWS, Azure, and additional providers
• Identify essential API endpoints and parameters for cloud security posture management
• Analyze cloud security services and their configurations to define robust testing scopes
• Design Python scripts to automate API interactions and service validations
• Build Terraform configurations for simulating cloud environments
• Create YAML/JSON configuration files for automated data collection
• Perform REST API testing to ensure service reliability and security
• Implement automated workflows for infrastructure consistency verification
• Develop a comprehensive testing framework aligning with business and security requirements
• Collaborate with development and product teams to translate business goals into technical requirements
• Document API workflows, Terraform modules and automation processes comprehensively
• Report on automation outcomes, test coverage and areas for improvement
