The portfolio includes Registry Interactions Services, Modernising Business Registers, and the Information Technology team, which powers ASIC’s transformation agenda through digital solutions and platform delivery.

• $123,444 - $136,097 (depending on experience) + 15.4% superannuation

THE ROLE

The AWS Engineer supports designing, building, and maintaining the AWS infrastructure that supports mission-critical applications.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Build and manage scalable AWS infrastructure using best practices
• Use IaC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
• Configure networks (VPCs, subnets, peering, NAT, Transit Gateway)
• Automate provisioning and deployment with CI/CD, Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions
• Containerize workloads with ECS, EKS, or Fargate
• Set up monitoring and alerts via CloudWatch, X-Ray, or Grafana
• Partner with engineering, security, and ops to deliver infrastructure solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
• Improve DevOps workflows and engineering standards
