CLOUD CYBERSECURITY OPERATIONS ANALYST

Strategic cybersecurity analyst role in the insurance industry focused on cloud security operations, CNAPP tools, and endpoint detection. Located in Markham with hybrid flexibility, this position offers exposure to advanced security environments, cross-functional collaboration, and enterprise-scale incident response work.

• Triage incident response (IR) and data loss prevention (DLP) events.
• Work on change management requests and vulnerability reports.
• Monitor and track cybersecurity issues using EDR, DLP, SIEM, and other tools.
• Conduct health checks and periodic testing of cybersecurity tools.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as risk, legal, engineering, and HR.
• Assess, summarize, and escalate potential security breaches.
• Create clear documentation and reports for ongoing and project-related work.
• Provide ad-hoc support to internal cybersecurity and risk management teams.
• Contribute to the development of incident response plans and playbooks.
• Stay up to date on evolving cybersecurity threats and recommend enhancements.
• Support knowledge transfer and process improvement initiatives.
