MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Cloud Development Architect, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our federal customers. You will play a crucial role via the following: Designs, architects, deploys and maintains cloud solutions Maintains the integrity and security of systems Maintains all documentations Supports and develops automation Develops in languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python Maintains/enhances knowledge of AWS cloud services Monitors and tunes the cloud systems to achieve optimum performance levels Works across teams and external customer groups to develop strategy, design solutions, and advise implementation teams during infrastructure buildouts Deals with escalations. Makes assessments, recommendations, or provides solutions to resolve issues Composes and maintains standard operating procedures and work instructions, knowledge articles, et al. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Cloud Development Architect must have: ● Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree ● Experience: 10+ years of related experience with AWS cloud computing ● Required Skills: Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Bash, PowerShell, or Python Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing one of the following: Terraform, Pulumi, GCDP, Bicep, and/or CloudFormation Understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers) to deliver high-quality solutions. The likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
