Description

Graham Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and security-cleared Cloud DevOps Engineer to support a mission-critical program. This role is essential to designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud-native infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure (especially AWS), security compliance, and infrastructure automation.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly required.
  • 5+ years experience in DevOps-focused software engineering
  • 5+ years bash/python scripting
  • 5+ years experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
  • 5+ years working in AWS environments
  • 3+ years with cloud-native technologies: ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, SageMaker, RDS, DynamoDB
  • 3+ years experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)
  • 3+ years experience in security configuration (IAM, secrets management, DevSecOps tools)
  • Experience with ATO process, security documentation, and compliance enforcement
  • Strong knowledge in network and infrastructure security

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • 3+ years in disaster recovery planning
  • 2+ years coding in TypeScript, Python, or similar OOP language
  • Hands-on with container security and runtime protection
  • Experience automating security compliance and continuous monitoring
  • Background in database administration (RDS, DynamoDB, MongoDB)
  • Proficiency in serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway)
  • Experience with full-stack development (React, Node.js)
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale technical initiatives
  • Strong system design experience with a focus on scalability and reliability
Responsibilities
  • Architect, implement, and manage cloud-native infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools (CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to support complex microservices environments
  • Develop and maintain full-stack applications, ensuring operational excellence
  • Implement and optimize monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (CloudWatch, Prometheus, etc.)
  • Drive a security-first approach in infrastructure and pipeline development
  • Lead efforts in securing systems through IAM policy management, security groups, and secrets management
  • Ensure systems are ATO-compliant, supporting NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP standards
  • Collaborate across teams and mentor others in DevOps best practices
  • Participate in on-call rotations for production support as needed
