Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

NearSource is looking for a skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to support infrastructure automation and scalability initiatives for a Fortune 500 product company. This role will focus on Python scripting, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD reliability within cloud-based environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead implementation of infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform and Ansible
  • Drive deployment automation, CI/CD integration, and pipeline enhancements
  • Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and orchestration
  • Manage cloud infrastructure on Azure or AWS for high availability and security
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure consistent environments across development and production
  • Oversee source control workflows using Git and GitHub
  • Implement monitoring and observability using tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, or ELK
  • Manage artifact and package repositories (e.g., Artifactory, NuGet, Conan)
  • Support containerization strategies using Docker and orchestration via Jenkins
