REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong experience with cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and virtualization technologies (VMware, OpenStack).
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, Go, Ruby on Rails, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or NoSQL solutions.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services architecture (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Understanding of system administration across various operating systems including Linux and Windows.
• Ability to work with microservices architecture and DevOps practices effectively.

• Collaborate with software developers and IT staff to oversee code releases and deployments.
• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and Rackspace.
• Develop automation scripts using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to streamline deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to web services and cloud applications.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab for efficient software deployment.
• Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes to enhance application scalability.
• Ensure system security through hardening practices and VPN configurations.
• Maintain documentation for system architecture, processes, and procedures related to cloud development.
• Participate in Agile development practices to improve collaboration between teams.
