REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3–6+ years of DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Pulumi, etc.).
  • Strong background in CI/CD tools and automation.
  • Experience managing Kubernetes and Docker in production environments.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix administration and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
  • Knowledge of Git-based workflows and version control best practices.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with hybrid cloud and on-prem integrations.
  • Familiarity with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) and microservices deployments.
  • Understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud.
  • Exposure to monitoring & observability best practices.
  • Certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, CKA/CKAD, etc.) are a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Manage and automate cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications (Docker, OpenShift, EKS/AKS/GKE).
  • Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, CloudWatch).
  • Ensure security, compliance, and high availability in cloud deployments.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and security teams to streamline deployments and improve system reliability.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.
  • Support cost optimization strategies and cloud resource management.
