Description

Description:
Solutionreach is seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps team in our Engineering department. This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work closely with the other DevOps members, the SRE’s, security, and application engineering teams to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and performance of our cloud-native applications.
Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a focus on GCP.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and system architecture in cloud environments.
  • Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, GKE).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., DataDog, Stackdriver, Prometheus).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • GCP Professional Cloud Architect or DevOps Engineer certification.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
  • Background in healthcare or regulated industries is a plus.

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

  • Data center server experience.
  • Experience with on-prem to hybrid cloud or multi-cloud migrations.
  • A good sense of humor.

SOUNDS GREAT. WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?

  • Fast Evolution: Solutionreach evolves quickly and constantly to succeed as a business. This means sometimes we switch gears halfway through a project, solve problems with minimal information, and roll with the punches.
  • Big Goals: We have a mission to transform healthcare, and you impact that directly. We demand high execution and strong results. You work smart and get it done.
  • Non-stop Learning: We care about personal development and have a culture of feedback, so your manager or team may have to tell you things that are difficult to hear and vice versa.
  • Differences: The last thing we want is to hire people who are just like us. This means you will work with others that you may not immediately click with or sometimes disagree with. That’s not a bad thing. Be curious and compassionate. Be willing to change your mind. That’s belonging in its true form: celebrating and finding genuine value in our differences.
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and implement infrastructure solutions using GCP services such as GKE, CloudSQL, BigTable, Pub/Sub, and IAM.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Tekton, or similar tools.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security using DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, and GCP-native tools.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure infrastructure supports application scalability and reliability.
  • Automate operational tasks and improve deployment workflows.
  • Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.
  • Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements.
