You’re someone who thrives in complex technical environments and enjoys delivering clean, scalable solutions.

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
  • Strong networking know-how (Routing, VLANs, VPNs, DNS)
  • Confident working with Linux systems and Bash
  • Skilled in IaC and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible)
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration
  • Fluent in German (C2 required) and good command of English (B2+)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is a fast-growing digital company that’s reimagining IT operations and infrastructure management with a strong focus on automation, cloud-native technologies, and agile collaboration. They are now looking for a Cloud Engineer to take ownership of key systems, enhance their infrastructure landscape, and help build scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As part of a cross-functional team, you’ll act as the go-to technical expert for infrastructure topics and DevOps practices. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Administering and improving operational tools such as Sentry, CheckMK, and GitLab
  • Managing and evolving both Azure and Proxmox environments
  • Overseeing corporate and on-premises networks: routing, VPNs, VLANs, port forwarding
  • Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible
  • Automating permission structures and access controls (Azure AD / Entra ID, third-party apps)
  • Building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) and AWX playbooks
  • Containerizing applications with Docker and ensuring smooth deployment workflows
  • Collaborating with the development team to streamline integration and delivery processes
  • Acting as the main point of contact for internal teams and supporting 2nd-level inquiries
