Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. In this role, you will play a key part in driving cloud transformation, automation, and operational excellence across critical business systems. Responsibilities Cloud Architecture & Engineering Design, implement, and manage scalable, highly available Azure cloud environments Architect solutions aligned with best practices for performance, cost optimization, and security Manage core Azure services including Virtual Machines, VNets, Storage, Azure SQL, Load Balancers Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform / Bicep Drive automation and standardization across cloud deployments DevOps & Containerization Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) Collaborate with development teams to streamline release cycles and deployments System Administration & Hybrid Infrastructure Administer Linux and Windows servers across cloud and on-prem environments Manage hybrid infrastructure (On-Premise + Azure) ensuring seamless integration Configure and maintain networking components (VPN, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls) Manage identity and access using Azure AD (Entra ID) Security, Monitoring & Reliability Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for proactive issue detection Enforce security policies, RBAC, and compliance standards Manage secrets and sensitive data using Azure Key Vault Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and system recovery Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning Requirements Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS) Solid knowledge of Terraform / Bicep (Infrastructure as Code) Experience in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions) Strong background in system administration (Linux & Windows) Good understanding of networking concepts and hybrid environments Experience with Azure AD (Entra ID), RBAC, and security best practices Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident management Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Nice to Have Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, etc.) Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Ansible, etc.) Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in Azure Experience in enterprise or government environments

Responsibilities
