Description
Key Responsibilities: ● Manage, monitor, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking components. ● Deploy and configure Azure services such as Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, App Services, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). ● Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure DevOps pipelines. ● Perform regular maintenance, patch management, and security hardening of cloud resources. ● Monitor system health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. ● Respond to incidents during the night shift, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure SLAs are met. ● Manage identity and access through Azure AD, ensuring compliance with MFA and RBAC policies. ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams for automation, performance optimization, and cost efficiency. ● Document system configurations, procedures, and operational runbooks. Required Skills & Competencies: ● Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS services. ● Hands-on experience with Azure CLI, PowerShell scripting, and Terraform. ● Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies (AKS/Docker). ● Proficiency in monitoring, alerting, and cost optimization within Azure environments. ● Familiarity with security controls, backup & disaster recovery configurations. ● Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. ● Essential for 24/7 operations, customer service, or managing different time zones. Preferred Qualifications: ● Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305). ● Experience supporting global operations or enterprise cloud environments. ● Exposure to multi-cloud tools or hybrid cloud integration is a plus.
Responsibilities
The Cloud Engineer will manage, monitor, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, deploying and configuring various Azure services. They will also implement Infrastructure as Code and ensure system health and security compliance.
