Description

Please note: We are not able to consider candidates who are not living and working in the Netherlands. At this moment we are not providing relocation sponsorships.
At Schuberg Philis, we specialize in mission-critical IT, partnering closely with our customers to ensure their most vital systems run smoothly and securely. Our engineers are T-shaped professionals who thrive at the intersection of depth and breadth, combining deep expertise in their fields with a collaborative mindset to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
Working within dedicated, cross-functional, self-steering Customer Teams, we take ownership of complex challenges, co-creating solutions that align with our customers’ goals. From designing and building robust systems to managing secure, mission-critical platforms. Furthermore, we automate as much as possible, support the (customer) team and developers on applications, and keep the platform secure, up to date and available.
As an Azure Platform Engineer, you will lead the design, construction, and maintenance of cloud environments to meet infrastructure needs. This includes cloud-only as well as hybrid architectures, containerization, and the creation of developer tools to enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities vary depending on the specific cloud landscape, but may include

  • Design and build Azure infrastructure for hybrid and cloud-native workloads.
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments.
  • Create reusable platforms to support VM’s as well as managed applications.
  • Manage governance and security policies for multi-user environments.
  • Migration of infrastructure(s) to Azure.
  • Establish monitoring and observability practices using tools like Datadog.
