Your Role As our Cloud Engineer, you’ll own and evolve our hybrid Microsoft environment (Azure + on-prem AD), strengthen our security posture, and drive automation and reliability. You’ll work across IT and business teams to deliver solutions—not just surface problems. What You’ll Do Architect secure, scalable services in Azure (IaaS/PaaS) Engineer resilient network connectivity (VNets, VPNs, Palo Alto) Administer Intune, Conditional Access, and M365 governance Implement MDR/XDR controls and lead incident response Manage backup/DR, patching, and lifecycle for Windows servers Track and optimize cloud spend (FinOps practices) Communicate clearly with stakeholders and document changes Foster a collaborative, feedback-driven team culture Requirements What You Bring ? 7+ years hands-on IT experience with Azure & hybrid identity ? PowerShell + IaC (Bicep or Terraform) proficiency ? Strong networking and firewall fundamentals ? Experience with MDR/XDR and Microsoft 365 security ? Clear, professional communication and documentation skills Preferred: Microsoft certifications (Azure Admin/Architect) Familiarity with Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Purview, PIM Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub How We’ll Measure Success 30 Days: Environment orientation, runbook contributions, quick wins 60 Days: SSO adoption, alert noise reduction, security plan delivery 90 Days: Lead a project to production; deliver measurable improvements Why Catania Oils?
