About the Role

An exciting opportunity for an Cloud Engineer to take ownership of a cloud environment, supporting primarily Azure. You'll play a key role in ensuring stable, secure, and scalable platforms that support engineering, operational, and business teams in a high-performance, mission-driven environment.

You'll work across cloud, networking, security, and DevOps, driving improvements, reducing operational risk, and enabling reliable IT operations through proactive maintenance and modern tooling.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build and support Azure-based infrastructure alongside on-prem systems
• Manage networking (VNets, VPNs, firewalls, routing)
• Support end-user platforms across Windows and Linux
• Strengthen security posture through patching, monitoring, and compliance controls
• Automate processes using scripting and support DevOps integration
• Maintain clear documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure (or strong experience with another cloud, with exposure to Azure)
• Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, routing)
• Experience administering Windows and Linux environments
• Understanding of security best practices (IAM, least privilege, patching)
• Scripting capability (PowerShell, Bash, Python or similar)
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to operate autonomously in complex environments
