     Job description:About the role: In this role, you will play a key role in large-scale data center and cloud migration initiatives, ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient network operations across hybrid environments. The role involves executing migrations, maintaining hardware and certificates, managing vulnerabilities, and supporting network redesigns and documentation to align with enterprise and client standards.   A day in this role: Execute migrations of Cloud accounts (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and Extranet applications from DC5 to DC13. Support migration of AWS accounts to the new AWS Proxy Egress, including connectivity validation and client coordination for whitelisting. Troubleshoot and resolve network and application connectivity issues during Cloud9 migrations. Assist with firewall rule creation, app dependency mapping, and routing validations. Participate in network redesign efforts and maintain accurate technical documentation and diagrams. Participate in PSA and ARB submission processes and ensure proper service acceptance validation. Support client migrations from legacy environments (Allen, McKinney) to Equinix Extranet setups. Migrate non-standard network builds and configurations to EEC standards. Perform SSL certificate renewals on NetScaler and F5 load balancers, ensuring timely replacement and documentation. Perform redundancy and failover testing to validate resiliency across environments. Help with legacy environment clean-up initiatives to streamline infrastructure and support Cloud9 migration and hardware retirement efforts The expertise requested: 2+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering or infrastructure migrations. Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPN, NAT, DNS). Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and/or OCI networking (VPCs, peering, routing, and security). Experience with F5 and NetScaler load balancers and SSL certificate management. Familiarity with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7) and patching workflows. Understanding of hardware lifecycle management and redundancy testing procedures. Experience with firewalls, proxies, and load balancers in enterprise environments. Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.   Desired skills: Scripting or automation knowledge (Python, PowerShell, or Bash). Experience automating certificate renewals or vulnerability checks. Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST).
