Description

We are looking for a passionate IT professional to join the Cloud Program and Infrastructure Transformation within the Information Technology Group of CLP Power Hong Kong Limited. The successful applicant will be responsible for the following duties:   Key Responsibilities: * Perform cloud / server / storage operations and systems administration work * Perform server / storage software installation, testing, maintenance and upgrade on both cloud & on-premises environments * Be part of the Cloud engineering team to manage the platform and services running on multi-clouds environment * Perform site reliability engineering functions to ensure a robust and stable IT systems provided to support business * Implement & deliver technical projects in hybrid environments (both cloud and on-premises) ensuring high availability, performance and security  * Provide operational supports such as managing / monitoring of housekeeping jobs, performing regular system and hardware health check, conducting disaster recovery drills, etc. * Provide after office hours support when required for the continuous operations of application systems * Perform first level diagnosis analysis to identify sources of problem and improve cloud / server / storage / network reliability * Perform other duties as assigned by the team leader     Requirements: * A recognized university degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent * At least 5 years' IT experience in cloud / server operation, system administration and support on Microsoft Window platform and other common IT platforms * Proven experience on using Automation tools for day to day Cloud resources management, e.g. Ansible, Terraform, etc. * IT professional certification such as Azure Administrator Associate, etc. would be an advantage * Practical administration and trouble-shooting skills on Microsoft Windows, Linux, MS SQL DB, HP Proliant blade servers and blade infrastructure * Solid technical knowledge and hands-on experience in areas such as Active Directory, ADFS, MS cluster, SAN Storage, Commvault Backup, MS SCCM/SCOM, HP SIM /iLO or System Management Homepage * Experience in multi-Cloud platform such as Azure, Alibaba Cloud would be an advantage * Proficiency in both spoken and written English ABOUT CLP CLP was founded in Hong Kong in 1901, at a time when electricity was still a novelty worldwide.
