Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This position will be based on site near Chippenham.

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for driving the technical vision and execution of cloud migration initiatives. You will oversee the design, planning, and implementation of cloud-based solutions for complex systems, ensuring that they align with the Client’s IT governance, security standards, and business objectives. Your role will involve working closely with diverse stakeholders and reporting directly to the CGI Project Lead within a programme-managed environment.
You will provide strategic planning and technical leadership for cloud migration projects. This will include ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements, establishing best practices for cloud architecture, and managing risks associated with cloud transformation. Your expertise in cloud migration frameworks and emerging technologies will be essential in delivering structured, reliable transition processes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:
To excel in this role, you will need a strong technical background and extensive experience in cloud migration and hybrid cloud architecture. You should have a deep understanding of solution analysis, design methodologies, and best practices for cloud adoption. Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are also essential.
You must have proven experience in designing and implementing cloud migration strategies, along with expertise in hybrid cloud solutions architecture. Public and private cloud practitioner certifications are highly desirable. Additionally, experience working on government projects and knowledge of DevSecOps practices will be beneficial.
