DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree: Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Proven Experience: As a Cloud or Platform Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Azure services, including VMs, App Services, Azure SQL, Storage, and Networking.
  • Scripting and Automation: Experience with tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Terraform.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of maintaining and enhancing our state-of-the-art Azure cloud environment, as well as supporting our wide and local area networks and on-premises systems. Your main responsibility will be to manage and optimise Azure cloud services, ensuring they deliver exceptional availability, security, and performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage Azure Resources: Oversee virtual machines, storage accounts, databases, and networking components.
  • Develop Automation Scripts: Streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams: Ensure seamless integration of applications with the infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Address cloud and network infrastructure problems in a timely manner.
  • Stay Current: Keep up with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve infrastructure and services.
