REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years in cloud engineering.
• Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Hands-on experience with cloud services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, etc.
• Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, and DNS in a cloud context.
• Experience with scripting or programming (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Git.
• Understanding of cloud security best practices and identity & access management (IAM).
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect , Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator , or Google Professional Cloud Engineer (preferred).

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver, Prometheus, ELK).
• Exposure to agile or ITIL frameworks.

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Monitor system performance and availability, and implement improvements where needed.
• Ensure cloud environments are secure and compliant with organizational and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Support cloud cost optimization initiatives.
• Work with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines with cloud platforms.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, operations, development) to deliver cloud solutions.
