Description
About Us STARK is a new kind of defence technology company revolutionizing the way autonomous systems are deployed across multiple domains. We design, develop and manufacture high performance unmanned systems that are software-defined, mass-scalable, and cost effective. This provides our operators with a decisive edge in highly contested environments. We’re focused on delivering deployable, high-performance systems - not future promises. In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe - today. About the team Your mission As a Cloud Engineer, you will transform service requests into scalable, production-ready environments. By utilising Infrastructure as Code (IaC), you will ensure that every request is executed with precision, security, and documentable consistency. Responsibilities Act as the main point of contact for infrastructure requests. Maintain and expand our Terraform modules to ensure smooth deployments and consistent state management across environments. Install, configure, and manage services with appropriate security considerations. Monitor cloud provider usage to optimise costs and ensure compliance with internal security blueprints. Maintain clear "How-to" guides for the services you build to empower developer self-service. Qualifications 2-4 years in a Cloud Engineer role. Strong hands-on experience with GCP (preferred), though strong AWS or Azure backgrounds are welcome if you are willing to pivot. Hybrid-cloud or on-prem experience is also appreciated. Proficiency in Terraform. You enjoy the "service provider" aspect of the role - helping teams move faster by providing reliable, well-built infrastructure. Nice to have About us SECURITY CLEARANCE Due to the nature of our work in the defence sector, candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance required for this position.
