In this role, you will lead, manage, automate, and optimize our cloud infrastructure on Azure. You’ll ensure availability, scalability, and performance for applications running on our cloud platform. As a key team member, you’ll drive automation and enable seamless integration and delivery for development and operations teams.
Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined and automated application deployment on Azure, ensuring fast, secure, and reliable delivery.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance by identifying bottlenecks, addressing performance issues, and driving resource optimization.
- Collaborate with development teams to design cloud-native solutions, integrating seamlessly with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for container management.
- Ensure robust security compliance and best practices for infrastructure, securing Kubernetes clusters, managing network security, and implementing proactive measures.
- Implement disaster recovery, backup processes, and failover procedures to ensure continuous business operations and resilience.
- Drive cost optimization efforts by managing cloud resources efficiently, recommending cost-saving strategies, and maximizing the value of Azure services.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineers, helping foster a growth-oriented and collaborative team environment.
- Develop and maintain IaC templates and processes to standardize the creation and management of Azure resources.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, including infrastructure management, resource provisioning, and application deployment.
- Proven experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for container orchestration and Kubernetes cluster management.
- Advanced proficiency in Terraform for automating infrastructure as code and managing Azure resources.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines within Azure environments, using tools like Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of cloud-native applications, containerization, and Azure integration strategies.
- Familiarity with Azure monitoring tools to ensure the health, availability, and performance of cloud infrastructure.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure security best practices, including securing Kubernetes clusters and managing network security.
- Experience with version control systems, such as GitLab, to support development workflows and version management.
- Understanding of cost management and optimization in Azure environments to maximize resource efficiency and minimize costs.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across functional teams to deliver impactful cloud solutions.
