Opportunity to work with different cloud infrastructure to meet various organisational needs Collaborative and supportive team environment This is an Ongoing Full-time position About the Role The Cloud Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance and management of cloud infrastructure and services, mainly within Microsoft ecosystem, including roadmap activities such as cloud migration and transformation and the delivery of modern workplace applications, to meet current and future organisational needs. We are seeking someone with strong technical skills and experience to support and build the cloud infrastructure and assist with various uplift projects within the Technology group. Extensive experience working with Azure cloud platform in both Azure Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) delivery models of Azure resources for compute, storage, networking, identity and monitoring. Extensive experience in managing and administering various Microsoft 365 services including: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, MS Planner, Whiteboard, MS Forms and inTune. Demonstrated experience working with endpoint management solutions and supporting identity access management solutions that include: Defender suites, inTune MDM, Entra ID, hybrid identity, single sign-on (SSO), Conditional Access Policies, Privileged Identity Management, Role Based Access Control (RBAC) and Multi Factor Authentication (MFA). Demonstrated understanding of cloud computing concepts and architecture, cloud security best practices and tools, and serverless functions and platforms (eg. ASD’s Blueprint for Secure Cloud, Azure Cloud Adoption Framework, Azure Functions, Cloudflare, etc). Strong technical background and proven experience in Windows servers and core services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Hyper-V, PKI/Certificate Lifecyle Management, Always On VPN, System Centre Suites, Bitlocker Management, etc). Demonstrated experience in managing SIEM/SOAR solution such as Microsoft Sentinel and understanding of Kusto Query Language (KQL) for data analysis. Demonstrated experience of scripting and automation languages (eg. PowerShell, Bicep/ARM Templates, Terraform, etc). Knowledge of DevOps, Version Control, CI/CD, Infrastructure as a Code (IaC), containerization and orchestration tools and practices. Relevant tertiary qualifications in information technology or related fields and/or equivalent relevant professional experience. Politically neutral with no current or past affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners. Satisfactory criminal record check result.
