Job Purpose:
We’re seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure using Azure and M365 services. Your expertise will drive innovation, scalability, and reliability for our organization’s cloud solutions. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, and Azure Active Directory
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM templates
  • Familiarity with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and multi-cloud environments
  • Experience migrating on-premises data centers to Azure Cloud
  • Basic understanding of VMware and AWS
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for container orchestration
  • Experience managing and optimizing Azure VMware Solution (AVS) environments

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with architects and development teams to design and implement scalable cloud solutions using Azure services
  • Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage, networking, Logic Apps, and Log Analytics Workspaces
  • Deploy and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters for containerized workloads
  • Oversee Azure VMware Solution (AVS) environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure
  • Implement security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security groups
  • Monitor compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, SOC, NIST) and regulatory requirements
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize Azure resources for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Diagnose and resolve Azure-related issues promptly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure problems
  • Keep up to date with Azure services, features, and best practices
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, methodologies, and services to enhance cloud efficiency
