ABOUT THE POSITION:

Snowy Hydro is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing system solutions with a strong emphasis on cloud-native and hybrid environments. You’ll play a key role in advocating for the adoption of cloud technologies across the organisation, helping drive innovation and best practice. Your work will deliver long-term sustainable value and contribute to an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Install, deploy, configure, maintain, and decommission physical and virtual servers.
  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) in platforms like AWS.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd Level support for all Server, Cloud, and System Administration incidents and requests, including out-of-hours on-call support.
  • Maintain the security and integrity of servers, cloud networks, and cloud-native applications, including federated authentication and user directories.
  • Manage corporate backups and recovery processes for both on-premises and cloud-based data.
  • Configure and respond to infrastructure performance monitoring across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
