We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to join the Technology Area of the Technology & Operations Management Department of WL MS Italia.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in deploying and managing cloud-based solutions that align with the company’s short, medium, and long-term objectives, working closely with various teams and stakeholders.
This role represents a unique opportunity to contribute to our cloud transformation journey and enhance the organization’s digital landscape. The ideal candidate will be in a dynamic environment, supporting and optimizing our cloud-based IT services alongside a diverse team.

As a Cloud Engineer at WL MS Italia, you will work collaboratively with technical and business units to maintain and enhance IT services related to Acquiring, both in ongoing operations and specific projects.

Your responsibilities include:

• Cloud Deployment and Maintenance: Assist in the implementation and operation of scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions that meet business needs. Maintain and troubleshoot cloud-based environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Cloud Integration and Support: Facilitate the integration of cloud services with existing systems and support data transfer activities. Ensure seamless cloud operations and continuity.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard cloud assets and data. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and security practices.
• Cost Management and Optimization: Monitor and manage cloud resources to optimize cost-effectiveness. Implement best practices for resource utilization and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance of cloud systems and address issues proactively. Optimize infrastructure and applications for efficiency.
• Disaster Recovery and Resilience: Support the development of disaster recovery plans and aid in business continuity strategies for cloud-based resources.
• Continuous Learning and Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams to uphold a cloud-centric approach and share insights. Participate in skill-building and training related to evolving cloud technologies and methodologies.
