The incumbent will report to Manager – Communications and must understand the design process, liaising with multiple stakeholders to understand the brief and deliver all in-house design requirements, apart from coordinating with external agencies to ensure brand guidelines are followed. JOB RESPONSIBILITY Senior Software Engineer III – Network Engineering will be responsible for the following: Responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure & Networking Manage scalable cloud networking solutions across at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP). Support configurations such as BGP, transit gateways, direct connect, VPC peering, private links, and cross region routing. Automation & Infrastructure as Code Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins). Maintain and improve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines for consistent cloud environments. Development & Scripting Write and maintain Python scripts for automation tasks. Possess familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, YAML, and related technologies to interface with cloud management portals or tools. Troubleshooting & Operations Participate in incident response and troubleshooting calls as needed, including occasional weekend availability. Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity or configuration issues. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with distributed teams across the U.S and India. Proactively align with stakeholders across time zones to ensure high-quality service delivery and project completion. Security & DNS Ensure cloud network designs meet security and compliance standards. Manage DNS configurations and optimize for availability and performance. Ownership & Initiative Take full ownership of assigned projects and tasks. Ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and drive continuous improvement. QUALIFICATION Must to have : Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or in a related field Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts: BGP, VPC peering, transit gateways, SD-WAN, private links, etc. Intermediate Python scripting/automation capabilities Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and web interface integration. Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD tools. Basic DevOps understanding or strong willingness to develop these skills. Strong collaboration skills and experience working across global teams. Ability to manage projects independently and adhere to SLAs. Flexibility to work occasional weekends for critical support or deployments Nice to have: CCNA or higher, AWS/GCP/Azure certifications. Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar CI/CD systems. Familiarity with SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) practices. EXPERIENCE 5–8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with a focus on networking.
