Job Description We are looking for an analytically minded FinOps professional to support the development of cost optimisation capabilities across cloud, AI, and on-premises technology environments. This role plays a key part in helping the organisation make data-driven technology investment decisions by delivering insights, identifying efficiencies, and supporting financial accountability across technology platforms. As an Analyst, FinOps, you will work closely with technology, finance, engineering, and product teams to analyse technology consumption and spend, identify optimisation opportunities, and contribute to the growth of FinOps practices across the Group. Qualifications Type of Qualification: First Degree Field of Study: Business Commerce Type of Qualification: First Degree Field of Study: Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related disciplines Experience Required 5–7 years Experience in technology, data analytics, financial analysis, cost management, or related disciplines Understanding of cost optimisation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling principles Experience working with large datasets, reporting tools, business intelligence platforms, and data visualisation solutions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights Experience preparing reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders Practical experience working in cloud, technology, or digital environments Exposure to Technology Business Management (TBM), FinOps, cloud financial management, or related disciplines will be advantageous Curiosity and willingness to develop expertise in FinOps and emerging technologies, including AI 4-5 years Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities Ability to synthesise large volumes of information and identify actionable insights Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams Passion for data-driven decision-making and technology value optimisation Additional Information Behavioural Competencies: Adopting Practical Approaches Articulating Information Challenging Ideas Checking Things Developing Expertise Documenting Facts Embracing Change Establishing Rapport Examining Information Exploring Possibilities Following Procedures Interpreting Data Technical Competencies: Business Acumen Financial Acumen Financial Management (IT) Cost Optimisation and Financial Analysis Data Analytics and Reporting Technology Business Management (TBM) FinOps Principles and Practices Emerging Technology Monitoring Operations Risk Management Technology Planning and Roadmaps Business Segment: Personal & Private Banking
