KalSoft is currently looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be based in Canada and bring hands-on experience with Microsoft cloud and hybrid infrastructure. This role requires strong expertise across Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and virtualization technologies, with a focus on secure, scalable, and reliable client solutions. Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients to assess infrastructure needs and design Microsoft cloud and hybrid solutions tailored to business requirements Plan and lead migration projects to Microsoft 365 and Azure, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations Deploy, configure, and manage Windows Server environments in hybrid/on-premise/cloud setups Implement and manage Microsoft infrastructure services, including Active Directory, Intune, Defender, and security/compliance features Optimize cloud environments (IaaS/PaaS) for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency Deliver expertise in virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V and VMware, including high-availability clustering and DR solutions Troubleshoot and resolve issues across server hardware, operating systems, and applications Provide proactive infrastructure monitoring, incident resolution, and ongoing support Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft infrastructure and security advancements, and share insights with clients and internal teams Document solutions and deliver training/knowledge transfer sessions for clients and staff Skills & Experience Required: Applicants must be Canadian residents (preferably in Toronto or Ontario) Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (required) Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (recommended) Proven experience with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, OneDrive) Strong expertise in Azure IaaS and PaaS deployment, workload migration, and connectivity Hands-on experience with Intune Autopilot, Azure Active Directory, and Identity Management Deep understanding of Microsoft security solutions (Defender, Conditional Access, Sentinel, AIP, DLP, Encryption) Solid background in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, and Group Policy Experience with Microsoft Exchange (2016/2019), Microsoft System Center Suite, SQL database infrastructure (HA/Always-On), and disaster recovery Familiarity with private cloud, Hyper-V, and VMware environments Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell or equivalent) Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and client-facing skills Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum 5 years of relevant consulting/engineering experience About KalSoft Founded in 1999, KalSoft is a multi-award-winning trusted technology partner in business innovation, delivering impactful business results to clients throughout digital modernisation and evolution.
