Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud-Focused IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 (O365), and cloud technologies. This role will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our cloud-based email and collaboration systems to ensure their reliability, security, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 Administration:
Deployment and Configuration:
Set up and configure Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive within Office 365
Migration and Integration:
Assist in planning and executing migration projects from on-premises environments to cloud-based Office 365 and Exchange Online.
Integrate Office 365 with Azure Active Directory and other cloud services.
Maintenance and Support:
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Exchange Online and Office 365 services.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email delivery, application errors, and user access.
Security and Compliance:
Administer and enforce security measures, including data loss prevention, email filtering, and compliance with organizational policies.
Backup and Recovery:
Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions for cloud-based data.
2.Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Cloud Service Optimization:
Optimize the use of cloud resources, ensuring cost-efficiency and scalability.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Monitor the health and performance of cloud services, generating usage reports and insights.
Security Management:
Ensure cloud infrastructure security, including identity and access management, encryption, and threat detection.
3.Documentation and Reporting:
Documentation:
Maintain up-to-date documentation for all cloud infrastructure components, including architecture diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Reporting:
Generate regular reports on system performance, incident resolutions, and project status for management review.
4.Project Management:
Planning and Execution:
Plan and execute IT infrastructure projects related to Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, and cloud technologies.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Resource Management:
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 12 years of experience in IT infrastructure roles with a focus on Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, and cloud technologies.
Microsoft Exchange:Expertise in Exchange Server 2016/2019/Exchange Online administration.
Office 365:Proficient in the administration of Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
Cloud Technologies:In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure management, preferably with experience in Azure.
Networking:Understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, SMTP, and firewalls as they relate to cloud-based email systems.
Scripting:Experience with PowerShell for automation tasks is highly desirable
