Role Overview Join a cross-functional team driving the modernization of data-intensive applications within a hybrid cloud platform in the energy sector. You will design and implement decentralized, scalable data architectures on a cloud-native platform, enabling reliable, Real Time insights and supporting critical business operations.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

  • 3+ years as a Cloud Native Data Architect
  • Deep knowledge of distributed data architecture and modern data design patterns
  • Experience with cloud-native data stacks (Spark, Kafka, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, TimescaleDB, etc.)
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala)
  • Strong grasp of data modelling, quality, governance, and life cycle management
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD, data integration pipelines, and agile methodologies
  • Ability to align architecture with business requirements and communicate effectively across teams
  • Fluent English
Responsibilities
  • Design robust, cloud-native data architectures for high-volume, data-driven applications
  • Collaborate with product and platform teams to decentralize data in a microservices environment
  • Lead architecture workshops and advise engineering teams on data modelling and integration
  • Evaluate and implement modern data storage and processing technologies (eg, Spark, Kafka, relational and NoSQL databases)
  • Support migration of Legacy data applications to cloud-native infrastructure with minimal disruption
  • Design business-aligned data models supporting analytics, self-service reporting, and regulatory compliance
  • Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) to validate architectural approaches
  • Define best practices for data security, access control, quality, and governance
  • Document decisions and contribute to continuous architectural improvement
