This is what you can expect

You will continuously develop our core platform services for containers, virtualization, and CI/CD, and support our value streams in the design and implementation of new solutions. Thanks to your architectural expertise and engineering know-how, you will design future-proof platforms, working closely with internal teams and our strategic technology partners.

• Development of solution and platform architectures for our value streams, taking into account architectural, security, compliance and operational requirements.
• Technical support for projects throughout their entire lifecycle – from solution development to successful implementation.
• Engineering, operation and further development of our platforms in the context of OpenShift, CI/CD, virtualization and multi-cloud.
• Planning, automation and optimization of our platforms according to modern DevOps, GitOps and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
• Close collaboration with our technology and operations partners, and ensuring high-quality implementation in accordance with our architectural, safety, and quality requirements.
• Evaluation of new technologies and continuous development of our platform standards and best practices.
• Participation in the periodic on-call duty.

This is what you bring with you

• You have completed higher education or further training in computer science (HF, FH or university) and have several years of professional experience in engineering and/or architecture of modern platform and infrastructure environments.
• You have in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift, CI/CD, Linux, and virtualization platforms. Ideally, you also have experience with Infrastructure as Code and multi-cloud platforms.
• You will develop technical solution and platform architectures and support their implementation together with internal teams and external technology partners.
• You enjoy working with Managed Service Providers. You define technical requirements, oversee their implementation, and represent AKB's interests regarding architecture, security, and quality.
• You impress with your strong professional and leadership skills, as well as your ability to manage technical topics and projects professionally and to develop sustainable solutions.
• A good understanding of information security as well as knowledge in the areas of network, identity & access management and security by design round off your profile.
• Excellent German and good English skills, both spoken and written, complete your profile.
