What you will do Implement complex infrastructure products through engineering and automation that enables configuration and service management Work to implement & support short and long-term roadmaps for their respective domains Participate in and provide feedback on systems engineering and design Provide input on the future execution of the delivery and management of environments with a strong emphasis on automation, security, performance, scalability and resiliency Full alignment with the Engineering Handbook guidelines and practices. Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred What experience you need BS degree in a STEM major or equivalent job experience required; Master’s Degree preferred; AI/ML coursework preferred 5-7 years of related experience Certification in cloud or automation preferred Experience in one or more cloud environments (GCP preferred) Experience using one or more automation languages (Python,PowerShell, Go) Experience with programming languages (Java, C#, javascript) preferred Solid understanding of networking Experience with one or more other technologies (database, Big Data, AI, etc) Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred What could set you apart An ability to demonstrate successful performance of our Success Profile skills, including: Agile Engineering Best Practices - Actively participates in agile process; May lead sprint planning; Coaches others on the team in agile processes Asset Utilization and Cost Control - Understands the cost implications of resources in the cloud (FinOps) and Budget availability; Works to control costs and improve efficiency in the tooling to ensure costs adhere to expected outcomes; Collects and correlates cloud cost data for products and tooling to identify potential improvements to the product Automation - Implements and improves automation; Aligns with other teams to find new automation innovations Cloud Computing - Monitors usage and costs of cloud and automation resources; Identifies and corrects resource usage based on optimization recommender tools; Understands the drivers for product costs and anticipates optimizations before delivering the product Compliance and Security (IT Compliance) - Understands compliance requirements, documentation, and processes; Implements compliance requirements into the automation and solutions; Seeks to improve compliance delivery through product and solution enhancements IT Network Management - Creates, troubleshoots, and implements network configuration for the tooling; Understands, captures, and interprets network logs We offer a hybrid work setting, comprehensive compensation and healthcare packages, attractive paid time off, and organizational growth potential through our online learning platform with guided career tracks.
