The SAP Global Systems team within IS&T runs the Operations and Financial transactional platform that powers all of Apple functions like Sales, Manufacturing, Distribution and Financials. DESCRIPTION As a Cloud Platform Engineer at Apple, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and operation of our next-generation cloud platform. You will work alongside a team of talented engineers to build a highly scalable, reliable, and secure platform offerings that empower Apple's product teams to deliver world-class experiences. You will be responsible for driving innovation, adopting new technologies, and ensuring the platform meets the evolving needs of Apple's business. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of proven experience as a Cloud/DevOps Engineer or in a similar role. Knowledge of working with public cloud providers such as AWS or GCP Understanding of networking concepts on Cloud, like VPCs/Subnets, Firewalls and LoadBalancers. Experience in CI/CD and configuration Management systems. Knowledge of working with OS environments and good programming skills in Python, Go or Java. Hands on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes or equivalent Analytical & problem solving skills, ability to communicate ideas clearly Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a strong focus on teamwork. Experience with emerging technologies such as Generative AI and Machine Learning in a cloud platform context. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant major. Certifications like AWS Solutions Architect , AWS DevOps Professional, GCP DevOps Engineer is a plus.
