Description
Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. Support and optimize SCCM for efficient software deployment, patch management, and system configuration across the organization. Manage and enhance SolarWinds for network monitoring, ensuring the reliability and performance of critical infrastructure components. Work closely with IT teams to streamline software deployment processes, system configurations, and compliance management using SCCM. Participate in the evaluation and selection of new technologies to enhance the organization's endpoint management capabilities. Performs maintenance on existing operating systems. Evaluates, engineers, tests, recommends, and implements secure infrastructures. Performs root cause analysis on failed components and implements corrective measures. Provides ongoing information to leadership, customers, and peers regarding enhancements, innovations, and solutions. Responsible for following company specific systems engineering standards. Provide Technical Documentation and training to L1 and Service desk. Prior experience with Windows OS (2008 - 2022), User administration, patch, IIS log files, Performance Monitors and System Services management, .NET Framework, SQL Server. Knowledge of integrating to back-end systems including Documentum is a plus. Responsible for complex testing and analysis of all elements of the computer systems. Analyzes and provides innovative solutions to system engineering and design projects. Represents the organization in front of critical audiences such as clients/customers/vendors/executives. Thorough understanding and management of customer business needs and expectations Candidates must have exceptional customer service, problem solving, and communication skills. Must have sufficient technical depth to communicate with development and other internal organizations at a peer level as well as convey technical concepts to non-technical individuals. Possess the ability to work independently with minimal management supervision and with a global team of engineers. Strong team player with ability to work in a team and as individual contributor. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Fast learner, flexible and able to work on multiple tasks. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Possess 8/10 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent combination of education/experience. Proven experience as a Microsoft Azure Engineer with expertise in Windows Server, SCCM, and SolarWinds. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services, architecture, and best practices. Proficiency in SCCM for software distribution, patch management, and configuration management. Familiarity with SolarWinds for network monitoring and performance management. Strong scripting and automation skills for configuration tasks and deployments. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Ability to work a 24x7 on-call shift, with primary business hours Canadian Eastern Standard Time
