Mollie is one of Europe’s fastest-growing fintech companies. We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to enhance our cloud infrastructure’s security posture. As a member of the Security Engineering team, you will support engineering teams in strengthening infrastructure security while enabling innovation. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to establish and maintain a secure cloud environment.
  • Design, implement, and manage robust cloud infrastructures to protect against cyber threats.
  • Develop automated solutions to efficiently address security challenges.
  • Create and maintain security infrastructure and controls aligned with industry best practices and compliance standards.
  • Seamlessly integrate security into the software development lifecycle through collaboration with product and engineering teams.
  • Conduct design reviews and actively participate in threat modeling sessions.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Demonstrated expertise in security fundamentals, including threat modeling, risk assessment, and vulnerability management.
  • Proven ability to analyze, problem-solve, and communicate effectively.
  • Minimum of two years of hands-on cloud security experience on at least one major public cloud platform (GCP preferred).
  • Successful track record in securing cloud infrastructures.
  • In-depth knowledge of securing containerized applications and orchestration platforms, such as Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform.
  • Experience with automation using Python, Shell Script, or Go programming languages.
  • Strong foundation in Linux systems and shell scripting.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab.
  • Understanding of Shift Left Security principles and experience with SRE or DevSecOps practices.
