This role ensures that the migration process does not disrupt existing operations and maintains the security, integrity, and confidentiality of all data, applications, and systems hosted in cloud environments.Minimum Qualifications & Experience Qualifications and Certifications Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. Relevant certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Security Specialty, Azure Fundamentals, CCSP. Experience Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in cloud technology and security. Strong knowledge of cloud security offerings and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Expertise in cloud computing, networking, storage, content delivery, and automation. Key Responsibilities Manage cloud environments in line with security guidelines, standards, and policies. Ensure cloud security compliance and meet organisational security requirements. Define and implement IAM policies and technologies (e.g., SSO, SAML). Administer cloud security tools such as KMS, Secrets Manager, Certificate Manager, GuardDuty. Conduct system scans, identify vulnerabilities, and manage remediation plans. Use cloud security assessment tools (CSPM/CWP) to monitor workloads and assets. Stay updated on emerging threats and technologies; recommend new tools and techniques. Promote best practices for cloud resilience and security hardening. Technical Competencies Proficiency in Amazon EC2 and other AWS services (VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM). Experience with cloud-native services across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Familiarity with containers and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher). Knowledge of CASBs and CSPM systems. Security hardening of domains and forests. Use of security tools (Prisma Cloud, Tenable, SIEMs). Hands-on experience with IAM, encryption, key management, and network security. Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
