We are an employee-owned company with approximately 400 employees working on cybersecurity from offices in Norway and internationally.
With our self-developed Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service, refined over 20 years, we are the preferred partner for many of the largest organisations in Norway and the Nordics.
At the same time, both our industry and the threat landscape evolve daily. That’s why we constantly need new knowledge and fresh talent.
This is where you come in – our new Trainee Cloud Security at the Trondheim office. This role is ideal for IT students looking to gain skills and hands-on experience that aren’t taught in school.
If you combine this position with your studies, we will respect your schedule and adapt your tasks accordingly. For example, we’ll ensure reduced workload during exam periods.
What to Expect as a Trainee at mnemonic

Your trainee program will look like this:

• Training in leading cloud platforms, security infrastructure, and the field of cybersecurity.
• Participation as a junior consultant in customer projects.
• Assisting with customising detections in our proprietary service, Argus.
• Working toward multiple cloud security certifications, fully covered by us.
• After six months, you’ll choose a specialisation: Cyber Security Cloud Engineer or Cyber Security Cloud Incident Handler.

Most trainees are offered permanent positions at mnemonic upon completing the program, securing a stable job in a profitable company with great prospects.

What We’re Looking For
To thrive at mnemonic, you must be ready to absorb a lot of knowledge in a short time. Cybersecurity is a fast-paced, ever-changing field, and we’ll be there to guide you along the way.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Can work methodically, following a plan but adapting when things don’t go as expected.
• Is open to experimenting and learning from constructive feedback from customers.
• Maybe already has some familiarity with networks, public cloud platforms (especially Azure), and programming, with a focus on automation.
