We’re looking for a talented Cloud Software Engineer to join our dynamic product development team here in Laurel, MD. As a Cloud Software Engineer, you’ll be hands-on in the full software development lifecycle-designing, developing, optimizing, and sustaining innovative cloud capabilities that are built to scale. You’ll help us accelerate our product’s capabilities, ensuring they are high-performing, efficient, and cutting-edge!

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field is required .
  • A Master’s degree in a Technical Field will be considered equivalent to two (2) additional years of experience.
  • At least eight (8) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.
  • At least six ( 6) years of experience developing software with high level languages such as Java, C, C++ .
  • At least five (5) years of experience developing software for UNIX/Linux ( Redhat versions 3-5) operating systems.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in software integration and software testing, to include developing and implementing test plans and test scripts.
  • One of the following certifications are required:
  • AWS Certified Developer - Associate
  • AWS DevOps Engineer Professional
  • Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Designing and developing innovative new features for cloud-native products.
  • Testing, optimizing, and fine-tuning performance to meet the highest standards.
  • Supporting agile development processes, collaborating with a brilliant team of engineers.
  • Managing AWS Cloud Infrastructure and utilizing AWS services to their full potential.
  • Automating infrastructure and deployments with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Contributing to continuous integration, deployment, and testing practices that drive efficiency and quality.
