Job Title: Cloud Software Technical Installer
Effective: August 29, 2025
Department: Client Services
Reports to: Cloud Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Technical Installer to deploy our cloud reporting and loyalty system on client servers and point-of-sale (POS) systems at grocery stores. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong troubleshooting abilities and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth installation, integration, and functionality of our software while providing top-tier support to store personnel.

Essential Functions:

  • Install and configure applications on store servers and POS systems.
  • Ensure connectivity between on-premises systems and cloud infrastructure - troubleshooting and resolve networking, firewall, and other technical issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with IT teams at grocery stores to ensure proper system integration.
  • Document installation processes and provide feedback to the development and support teams.
  • Perform system testing and data analysis to verify successful implementation.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Provide remote support as needed for technical issues post-installation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (IP configuration, VPNs, firewalls).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Thorough knowledge of windows operating systems and command line
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Knowledge of SQL Databases a plus.
  • Highly organized and ability to self-prioritize.
  • Experience with remote desktop tools for troubleshooting.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
