CLOUD SOLUTION ARCHITECT-IT ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT/STRATEGIST - SENIOR:

On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Cloud Solution Architect-IT Enterprise Architect/Strategist - Senior for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with occasional onsite meetings at our client’s Orillia, Ontario office.

CLOUD SOLUTION ARCHITECT-IT ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT/STRATEGIST - SENIOR - JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role focuses on the architecture modernization of cloud services for the Ontario Public Service. The project involves developing and implementing technical architectures and creating documentation to support Architecture Review Board (ARB) requirements.

CLOUD SOLUTION ARCHITECT-IT ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT/STRATEGIST - SENIOR - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Cloud Architecture using Microsoft Azure Cloud services
  • 5+ years of Enterprise Azure Cloud Experience
  • 5+ years of experience outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for a business
  • Leadership experience in the development and implementation of technical architectures
  • Extensive experience with multiple platforms, operating systems, and database technologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

CLOUD SOLUTION ARCHITECT-IT ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT/STRATEGIST - SENIOR – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience in public sector projects
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management (Open Text ECM applications)
  • Understanding of Information Management principles and practices
  • Experience with Architecture Review Board processes and documentation
  • Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables based on Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture processes
Responsibilities
  • Develop, recommend, implement, and manage technical architecture for applications in a distributed cross-platform environment
  • Identify relevant information and determine the development environment
  • Design and implement system and user interface modifications
  • Create technical specifications and complete required documentation
  • Ensure alignment and adherence to Ministry of Government Services’ processes and standards
  • Support testing teams during system and UAT testing
  • Participate in knowledge transfer and undertake special assignments
