SUMMARY

We are seeking a part-time Cloud Solution Architect with deep technical knowledge and a passion for building high-impact solutions on cloud platforms.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering, with a focus on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with cloud marketplace, identity management, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of networking, VPC design, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
• Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, monitoring, and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Background in application development or software engineering.

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Richmond, BC V6V 2E

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage enterprise cloud infrastructure and solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Develop and maintain cloud strategy, Cloud Marketplace GTM, architecture blueprints, and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and DevOps teams to define system requirements and deliver cloud-native solutions.
• Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
• Implement best practices in security, compliance, and governance across cloud platforms.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing environments.
